if you thought coloring books were supposed to be fun...

think again.

a coloring book entitled "a scary thing happened" that depicts devasting tragedies that have occurred in america over the last decade, including the events of 9/11 and hurricane katrina, was published in 2003 and was just discontinued last week. the intended aim of releasing the coloring book was to teach traumatized children about tragedy.

because actually living through the tragedy itself evidently does not teach you enough.
