the bbc released an article today entitled "uk's super-rich hit in economic downturn".
hmm. and this is news because...? were they not supposed to feel the hit of the economic downturn like the rest of the world?
in the article, it was reported that the number of billionares in the uk has fallen from 75 to 43. it was also reported that the top 1,000 richest people in the uk now only share £258bn ($380 billion) which is down from last year's £413bn ($680 billion).
so that translates to mean that a year ago the share of wealth for the uk's richest 1,000 people was around £413mn ($680 million) per person but now it's only £258mn ($380 million) per person.
those poor babies. really. babies.
